Details
20 Degrees supports people and their organisations through periods of
change. We work with
clients to help them realise the benefits of intended change and manage the
consequences of unintended change. Our services can be broken down into four
elements which are often found inter-mixed:
- Innovation
– a proactive and positive driver of change
We support promotion of
innovation in an organisation.
- Project
management – the approach for controlled change
We work with the grain of
a client organisation’s culture to introduce methods that are most likely to
bring about the intended benefits of a change project.
- People
development – helping people to adopt positive behaviours and skills for
change
We support the people side of change through
skills development, leadership development and coaching in the project
environment.
- Evaluation
– learning the lessons from change
We provide rigorous
analysis and critical reflection.
Alun Hughes, one of the Directors of 20 Degrees said
‘We only started trading in September 2013 and Sell2Wales
has been brilliant for us. We have bid
for eight projects advertised on Sell2Wales and won four. That’s a pretty decent hit rate. To us this represents 73% of our first year
of sales by value and 45% of our first year’s turnover. The evaluation side of our business is
growing particularly strongly’.
If I were to advise anyone else thinking of tendering,
I’d say ‘Keep it simple but put in the effort to write a good bid. Think of your tender document as a written
version of a job interview. If you go to
a job interview looking scruffy and without having found out any background
information about the employer, you probably won’t get the job. People requesting tenders are essentially
interviewing you for a job.’
