As a company, Resources for Change originated in the field of environmental management and today we still link our expertise in this area with work which looks at integrating people and their environment. R4C was originally established in January 1997 by Steve Evison in response to changing approaches to sustainable development.

We involve people in sustainable change, focusing on stakeholder engagement, organisational and community development. Because we work both at grassroots and strategically, we have developed a reputation for ‘bridging the gap’ between sectors and creating real and long-lasting results. 

We work locally, regionally, nationally and internationally - in rural, urban and peri-urban communities. The benefit of this, for our clients, and us is the opportunity to exchange techniques and experiences, between geographical and thematic areas.  The main services we offer are:
